I am wondering If anyone has tried repeating a mantra as a homebase, to come back to once one has started into daydreaming. if I say teapot whistles or something neutral like that all day would I be doing concentration meditation that would lead to a type of trance, jhana, Samadhi? i am hoping repeating a neutral mantra would not cause absorption of any sort because that would be bad for my illness.
