right now in my life I have to do some healing meditation because of past difficulties in my system make it impossible to proceed with vipassana. I am wondering If anyone has tried repeating a mantra as a homebase, to come back to once one has started into daydreaming. if I say teapot whistles or something neutral like that all day would I be doing concentration meditation that would lead to a type of trance, jhana, Samadhi? i am hoping repeating a neutral mantra would not cause absorption of any sort because that would be bad for my illness.
to practice patience with others rough speech, perceive there words as only sound, patience is the path to nibbana.
