Chinese buddhist hermit monks

Postby Modus.Ponens » Mon Sep 09, 2013 4:48 am

Since this is not theravadin, I put it on the Lounge. But don't let this superficiality fool you. This has got to be one of the most beautiful documentaries I've seen. It's about chinese buddhist monks who are mountain hermits.

And the Blessed One addressed the bhikkhus, saying: "Behold now, bhikkhus, I exhort you: All compounded things are subject to vanish. Strive with earnestness!"

It's definitely one of the best documentaries on the Buddhist Path.

Oh yes. Thank you for reminding me, purple planet. Indeed there are some subtitles that are too fast, but it's worth it anyway.
