Huge asteroid to fly closest ever to Earth

In a close shave, an asteroid about half the size of a football field will miss Earth by 27,680 kilometres on February 15, the closest asteroid in recorded history to buzz past our planet, Nasa scientists say. "This is a record setting close approach," said Don Yeomans of Nasa's near earth object programme at jet propulsion laboratory. More

Heard about it in a german documentary recently.
Chances are higher it crashes on the planets surface than winning the lottery in germany. wooo.
edit: sorry that's the other huge asteroid... forgot it's name... amophis or something

It's today! You see it with binoculars. Doesn't move very fast though so it won't be spectacular. Just a bright dot, like a star.
