Rename the Board

Post by catmoon »

In light of the recent flood of refugees from E-Sangha, I propose that this board's name be changed to Dharamsala Wheel.

Aren't you glad you don't have to feed us all?

In that case, shouldn't we be renamed as 'Garam Masala Wheel'?

Dhamma Wheel... well since a lot of people are now using this as a backup to esangha, how about
Spare Wheel?

"Wheel" websites and domains currently owned by our community here:

http://www.dhammawheel.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; This forum

http://www.dharmawheel.net/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Mahayana-Vajrayana forum

http://www.dharmawheel.info/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; currently just redirects to Dharma Wheel

and now as of yesterday, I also purchased:

http://www.dharmawheel.org/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; currently just redirects to Dharma Wheel

So, I guess that makes it officially four wheels to our chariot.

Some people collect stamps, some collect dolls, some collect trinkets, me? I collect Buddhist domain names.

That now makes 21 Buddhist domain names. For the complete list scroll down to the bottom of my bio here:

It also may be an Idea to put some notice up with a link to DharmaWheel for those who are interested with that side until e-sangha have sorted out their server problems!

don't get me wrong all the new members are nice to see, but if they are inclined to Mahayana or Vajrayana they could end up detracting from the inclination of this forum.
Blog, Suttas, Aj Chah, Facebook.

He who knows only his own side of the case knows little of that. His reasons may be good, and no one may have been able to refute them.
But if he is equally unable to refute the reasons on the opposite side, if he does not so much as know what they are, he has no ground for preferring either opinion …
...
He must be able to hear them from persons who actually believe them … he must know them in their most plausible and persuasive form.
