Hi there,

What would you folks think of a beginners section?

In reply to Drolma,

I personally think a 'beginners section' stereotypes matters too much (given often beginners have quite profound questions to ask).

Kind regards,

I think a section with nothing but links to the enculcopedia wiki would be good it is always good to brush up on the basics

Greetings Drolma,

Combining a few of the ideas above, we've now created a "Discovering Theravada" forum, which is "A forum for beginners and members of other Buddhist traditions to ask questions about Theravada (The Way of the Elders)". Good for beginners in the sense of those completely new to Buddhism, but also for those with exposure to other Buddhist traditions.

Retro. :)
