Hello All,
My name is Tristan. I am a college student with an interest in Mathematics, Physics, and Philosophy. I am relatively new to the practice of meditation and to the study of the Dhamma. I came to the realization early on that the way of Theravada seems to be the most reasonable and logical perspective on the Buddha's teachings. Currently I practice meditation alone but I am beginning to search for local groups or centers nearby (Bay Area, California). I will certainly have many questions about meditation and Buddhist literature, and will most definitely seek the advice of more experienced members of the forums. I greatly look forward to future discussions with all of you.
