Introduce yourself to others at Dhamma Wheel.
by Perhin » Mon Dec 17, 2012 6:04 pm
Hi, everyone! This is Perhin from Alabama, USA, and I'm a newbie to Buddhism. I chose this path because it seemed to make the most sense to me and because of what now seems selfish(enlightenment over being a Bodhisattva), but either way, it does make me feel...like, I guess, I'm in control of myself. I like that very much.

Anyway, I cannot wait to begin talking to you all and to make friends, oh, and to learn!

*hugs*

Greetings,
Welcome to Dhamma Wheel.
Metta,
Retro.

If you have asked me of the origination of unease, then I shall explain it to you in accordance with my understanding:
Whatever various forms of unease there are in the world, They originate founded in encumbering accumulation. (Pārāyanavagga)'We should not congratulate someone on the success of their misdeeds, but on the contrary should endeavour to advise him or her to lead a more skilful and wholesome life. If such advice is ignored then we can only give up and let go' - Phra PanyapatipoDharma Wheel (Mahayana / Vajrayana forum)
