Introduce yourself to others at Dhamma Wheel.
by Brandon » Fri Dec 14, 2012 5:59 am
Hello!
My name is Brandon and I come from Sweden. I'm fairly new to Buddhism, I have read some books and meditated a little bit on and off. I joined this forum because I want to learn more about Theravada Buddhism and find peace in my mind.
I hope I found the right place, I know it is the right Buddhist tradition I have chosen anyway.
Sincerely, Brandon

Welcome.
What is the use of his knowledge
pertaining to the number of insects in the whole world?
Rather, inquire into his knowledge of
that which is to be practised by us
-- Dharmakirti
This being is bound to samsara, kamma is his means for going beyond.
SN I, 38.
Níl sa saol seo ach ceo
There is naught in this life but mist
Is ní bheimid beo ach seal beag gearr.
And we will not be alive but a short hard time.
