Buddha was cremated..so in all probability he turned into ash as hundreds of thousands arahants after him the last few thousands yrs ..(arahants who are cremated)...So what are there at the base of Stupas? Buddha's ashes or bones? What did the documentary of Piprawha Stupa show? Bones or ashes?
